3 v 3 TournamentWest District will be holding it’s annual four-person basketball tournament on March 19, 2011. The tournament will begin at 6 PM at West Park United Methodist Church, 625 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Forms available Forms/Rules RULES Players must be 6th grade or older. The cost is $12.50 per player ($50 per team) and you will receive a team shirt. Teams will be comprised of four players and must be co-ed. At least one player must be a member of a West District basketball team. The tournament will be a round-robin format with winners of each bracket advancing to a single-elimination round. Games will be 6 minutes long and consist of four 90 second quarters. Each player must sit out one of the quarters per game and will foul out after 3 personal fouls and team will play with two players for remainder of fouled-out person’s time. Fouled team will inbound ball from baseline. Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie during the round-robin portion. During single-elimination, extra periods will be played until there is a winner.
